Lesley's latest project was the refurbishment of the staff canteen at Paragon Business Park, Bolton. The client wanted to update the restaurant area to a standard which would offer a venue for corporate hospitality and social events. A scheme was used incorporating company colours to create a smart, elegant but practical area for entertaining that also served the daily canteen traffic well.

The client was extremely pleased with the look achieved by Lesley and especially pleased it was completed on time and within budget!
This small hairdressing salon had not had much done to it for over 20 years. The proprietor wanted to bring it into the 21st Century. What was required was good lighting, new wall and floor covering as well as new hairdressing stations. Lesley found great new downlighters that provided great light for working and created a wonderful feeling of space. A colour scheme of pale grey, lavender and white warmed with touches of terracotta in the marble look floor gave it a new image and modern mirror units completed the salon's exciting entrance in to the here and now.

This was a small design project Lesley recently completed in Eccles. The client wanted to give their hall and dining room a new lease of life without the hassle and expense of a total overhaul. Lesley came up with the idea of a stained glass windowed door at the end of the hall. This not only provided a warm image as soon as someone enters the house but leads beautifully into the dining room/conservatory looking out to the garden. The stained glass was designed specifically for the job by Lesley and gives the property a totally unique feature.

Le Meridien, Manchester

Decorum Design undertook the refurbishment of the Sherlock Holmes restaurant in the prestigious Victoria and Albert Hotel, Manchester. The previous decor was dark and somewhat dated. The brief was to provide a modern look in a traditional room, make the ambience lighter and more welcoming. The work was to be completed within a four week time scale. We took out the velvet drapes, advised on new style chairs and suggested paler, light reflective colours to work with the natural materials of the walls and beams.

Adams and Russell Coffee Stop

Before and After Photo
Decorum Design recently designed and assisted with the refitting of this derelict building, transforming it into a clean, modern coffee shop whilst maintaining the feel of a traditional Italian delicatessen, in accordance with the clients specification. We were responsible for the design of both the interior and exterior of the shop. A mixture of wood panelling with light, airy walls, ceramic flooring and appropriate furniture was chosen to create a homely yet modern atmosphere to reflect the traditional and tasty food.

Jacobean Dining Room

The clients brief was to give new life to her much used and loved dining room. It had just been decorated but the client felt something more needed to be done, yet done within a certain budget. Lesley created a richer, warmer look by simply adding a different style of curtaining and adding cushions to the chairs. The brief was achieved and the client was very pleased with the result.

This is an example that just a couple of small changes to an interior, spotted by Lesley's expert eye, can give it a whole new lease of life.
